Huh. I guess sports aren’t so bad, after all. (Except football. That’s still BOOO-RANG!)

I KNOW, I KNOW, IT’S BEEN OVER A MONTH. I’M SORRY. I’VE BEEN TOO LAZY TO DO ANYTHING LATELY.

Yep, I’ve done NOTHING on my novels.

So anyway, on to what I’ve been doing lately. 🙂

Also, there’s a secret button somewhere in this page (psst–there’s actually several). Can you find it (them)? 🙂

Getting Out of the House and Physically Exerting Myself.

Yep! That’s right, folks! I decided to get my fat, lazy butt out of my chair and go play some sports with the fam!

What I just said there might have given you the vibe that these last few weeks have been terrible, especially if you’re one of my friends who knows I hate sports, but it was actually great! Kept getting really sore afterward, though.

Basically, it all started in June, when we took a trip to Texas. My grandfather had taken the time to clean out the catcher’s cage before we got there, hoping there’d be a baseball game played. But all week, no one played, and it made him sad. So, to cheer him up, Mom told us all to get our shoes on, ’cause we were gonna play some baseball! I was kinda like…

Yay…

So excited…

I HATE THIS DAY.

But then the game started. At first, it was kinda confusing ’cause no one explained the rules beforehand, we were just learning as we went. But when we got it all down, BOY IT WAS FUN. I wanted to play forever. By the time we were done, I was a New York Yankees fan, and I was like, “When we get home, we’re buying bats, gloves, and baseballs, heading out to the park, and playing some BASEBALL!”

Yeah, that hasn’t happened yet, but at the end of June and the beginning of July, we were back in Florida, and getting even more exercise:

  • At the beach
  • Snorkeling
  • Can’t remember what else
  • And playing tennis (which is honestly WAY more tiring than it looks. I couldn’t even hit the ball right after about an hour because my arm hurt so much. And my back. And my legs).

So… That’s what I’ve been doing lately. 🙂

I’ve also been looking at custom American Girl stuff and MISSING MY FRIEND WHO’S IN THE COAST GUARD NOW. WAAAAAA!!!

Anyway…

I’ve been thinking about having a specific weekly schedule for this blog. One topic for each day. Right now I’ve got this:

  • Silencio Sunday (meaning I don’t post Sunday)
  • Music Monday (Monday is also when I have music lessons, so I’m already thinking about music. XD)
  • Randomness Tuesday (Sorry, but Thoughtless Tuesday didn’t sound good to me.)
  • Writing Wednesday (Yep, moving recaps to Wednesday. 🙂 )
  • (nothing for Thursday) (Yeah, sorry)
  • Friday Dolliday (Sorry for the STUPID pun, but hey, it sounds good)
  • Story Saturday (When I post writing tips or, if you’re lucky, a story)

🙂

That’s all I’ve got. Yeah, I know this has nothing to do with writing or stories. I’m sorry.

  1. Hey, Kirstyn! nice post! Since you’re participating in my challenge, I was wondering if it would be okay to move it to the nineteenth, instead of the week of the twelfth. Comment back if this works for you!

Also, if anyone else reads this, be sure to check out my blog and the challenge I’m doing!

    Thanks!

    Jaylee

  2. okay, so I’m sorry, I didn’t reply to this until the 20th. But just to clarify, the challenge actually starts today, on Monday. Also, I just remembered we’re going to a camp at the end of this week…. it does have wifi, so i could blog while I’m there, but it might be easier to move it up to the 27th…. this time I’m clarifying that it starts on monday! I hope you don’t think I’m trying to put this off… I just always forget that I’m doing stuff and end up trying to do two things at once!
If you want to do it this week, that works too, also because I’m celebrating my first blogiversary. I will say that doing it next week gives time for other people to participate, and I could do it as a late blogiversary celebration….. either way works! please let me know!

I love chatting with people, so leave me a comment! I always reply. ;)
